The cloisonné focal was inspired by the words of enlightened saint Ramana Maharshi, who on being asked 'How should we treat others' by his disciples once very strangely and powerfully replied, "There are no others".
This koan is what inspired this design, where in my small way I make tribute to this most holy of concepts for the collection Journey. The piece was given the frame of a Byzantine-inspired half-cross, flanked on either side by gemstones of peridot, and at the bottom with a juicy red garnet.
With its modern relic look, this one of a kind sits at the tributary of new and old symbolism, part-alchemy, part-2020. It can be finished into an ornate ring in your size, or a necklace, as you pefer.
This piece is an entirely unique piece of art jewelry and a collector's item, and comes signed and dated at the back.
At a Glance:

Can be finished as a ring or necklace
As ring - finished on a normal-size band split ring as pictured
All handmade jewelry is delicate. Though by no means as fragile as some stones, vitreous enamels can break or chip if mishandled. No drops, shocks, tugs or chemicals - and it will last to be buried with you inside your pyramid.
