Inspired by the romantic painting of Godward (see last slide) I've been creating a series of Ancient-Greece-reminiscent real gemstone strands for the urban Nymph.
In this one, I used lapis-chrysocolla which with its hues of the sea and reputation for inspiration, brought to mind the sea witch Circe. I paired it with shiny black onyx for contrast and balance. When worn, the strand gives an effortlessly romantic look and radiates a gone time - nights spent being decadent somewhere circa the turn of the 1900’s.
