This pretty saddle ring features a focal in a technique I call baby cloisonné - in it, a hand formed section of copper is decorated with many layers of enamel glass powder, each fired inside a kiln to vitrification in a process similar to that of cloisonné but one that omits the silver wires as outliner - the lines are instead delineated using dimension inside the glass as well as painted on in liquid gold. This halves the creation time and allows one to have a glittery piece in the spirit of cloisonné. The time spared I spent on making sweeter settings for these pieces with classic saddle rings given a little twist.

The focal features an semi-abstract rendition of an erupting volcano.

The ring wears approximately as a size 9 US - wide rings may feel tighter, please use the picture with the ring slipped onto the ring sizer to make a judgement

PS: The gold details should not be buffed as they are fragile! When polishing the silver avoid the enamel so as to preserve the liquid gold.
